Wetterling axes are forged by hand in a family-owned
factory in Sweden. Only the finest Swedish alloys of iron, carbon, silicon,
manganese, and vanadium are used. The edges are hardened to 57-58 on the
Rockwell C scale. The handles are American Hickory. Each axe comes with a
stout leather belt sheath.
These are not throwing axes, but Ive included them
for those who want a light general purpose axe for back packing, hunting or
home use. The handles are better shaped for those accustomed to modern axes.
Unlike the typical hardware store hatchet, these come properly sharpened and
ready to cut wood.
